This is another question we hear often, especially when patients are first diagnosed with periodontal disease.
The reality is, it depends.
It depends on your specific situation and is impacted by the current status of your disease progression and any treatments you may have already had (whether with us or with another doctor).
Our goal is to work closely with you to help you understand the challenges you might face with your gum disease. We’ll outline a treatment plan, and from there, can better determine how often you’ll need to come to our office.
You’ll also know what approaches we’ll take to addressing your teeth and gum issues. And you’ll have ongoing access to our staff, through office visits and with phone calls.
We’re here to support you and get your oral health back to a point where you’re not feeling pain and discomfort associated with gum disease.
If you have questions for a periodontist – please contact our offices. We’d be happy to talk more with you!
