It’s not a pretty statistic. And it’s not just a stat that you have to worry about because you play hockey!
The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) says that…
Statistics show that 69% of adults ages 35 to 44 have lost at least one permanent tooth to an accident, gum disease, a failed root canal or tooth decay.
Furthermore, by age 74, 26% of adults have lost all of their permanent teeth.

These numbers don’t paint the rosiest of pictures for your dental health. Fortunately though, the solution to missing teeth – dental implants – is a procedure that’s come a long, long way over the last number of years.
Now patients who are missing teeth – like the patients we see at our offices in Fort Lauderdale and in Deerfield Beach – have options for implants.
If you’re a candidate for dental implants and have question about what’s right for you, we’d like to talk with you. We can help answer questions about the implant procedure, recovery time, costs and more.
