One of the things we hear from patients is that “they’re worried about the pain” associated with periodontal procedures.

And certainly, that fear is a valid one. Fortunately, most of the treatment options and surgical procedures that we provide are done with minimal pain and discomfort. It’s something we really try to focus on in our Ft. Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach offices.

Dr. DeTure and his staff are aware that many patients don’t want to have treatment or will delay treatment because of the fear of potential pain. The good news is that with advancement in the procedures we use, many of them can be done without the patient feeling much discomfort.
